The Staff at Heathcot Preschool

We have staff speaking a mix of languages at pre-school such as: English, Urdu, Panjabi, Kashmiri, Gujrati, Pari and Bengali. If you need support via telephone, please ask for your preferred language. We also have staff who can use signalong to communicate. 

Our staff are highly qualified and hold accreditations in the following: Early years teacher status, BA (Honours) Early Years, as well as NVQ level 3, 4 and 5 in Childcare and Education. 

Our setting uses a key person approach where each member of staff has a group of children for whom they are responsible for. The key person works in partnership with parents to keep a record of their progress, needs, activities, interests and achievements.

Communication with parents is vital to the pre-school. The Famly app is used to communicate with parents/carers on a daily basis. For those who do not have access to Famly are contacted via: text, email, telephone and also verbally communicated by their child's key person. Important information can be found displayed on the parent’s notice board  at the preschool.
